DESCRIPTION:This session focuses on intentional design\, ensuring that every WBL experience is thoughtfully planned\, aligned to learning objectives\, and tailored to meet the developmental needs of students. Throughout the session participants will engage with the development of strategic documentation\, processes\, and procedures to improve or implement within their work-based learning program. \nLearning Objectives: \n\nLearn how to design a structured and impactful WBL program\nUnderstand how to onboard\, train\, and support learners effectively\nDevelop internship descriptions\, project plans\, assignments\n\nTopics Covered: \n\nSetting clear expectations and deliverables\nOnboarding and orientation best practices\nEffective mentorship and coaching strategies\nTroubleshooting common challenges\n\nSessions in this workshop series are $100 each\, or you can save $50 when you register for all three for $250! \nRegister for this session. \nRegister for all three sessions. \n  \nThis session is worth 2 recertification credits. \n HR Certification Institute’s® (www.HRCI.org) official seal confirms that the Indiana Chamber meets the criteria for pre-approved recertification credit(s) for any of HRCI’s eight credentials\, including SPHR® and PHR. \n  \n  \n \nThe Indiana Chamber is recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for SHRM-CP® or SHRM-SCP® recertification activities.
