Join the Skills First Talent Forum Spring Virtual Meeting hosted by the Institute for Workforce Excellence building upon the launch last Fall 2025. The topic focus of this conversation will be: Skills-Based Job Postings and Job Descriptions (the progress, process, and supports).
The purpose of the Skills First Talent Forum is to convene employers who are interested in and/or actively implementing skills-based talent strategies within their organizations. This peer-to-peer employer group is intended to meet on a quarterly basis following the direction and needs of the employers who participate. The goals identified by initial employer participants included:
- Develop and Share Best Practices
- Promote Skills-Based Hiring Practices
- Foster Collaboration and Networking
- Support Continuous Learning and Development
We kindly ask everyone who registers and attends this virtual meeting to join with their “employer hat” on, as all organizations are employers and can reflect on their own approach to talent attraction, development, and retention.
The meeting will not be recorded. A meeting summary will be shared with everyone who registers.
